My career in travel started in 1966 as the bookkeeper for a travel agency in Hutchinson KS and within weeks was managing and organizing group tours. In 1986, our family (husband, Ken and son, Devin) purchased Sunflower Travel in Wichita and opened a branch in Derby in 1994. Today we take great pride in operating the leading travel agency in the Wichita area for over 30 years.

First-hand knowledge of world-wide destinations and global connections provides clients memorable experiences. My passion for the industry carries through with customized itineraries , attention to details and customer service. I specialize in planning independent travel to Australia and New Zealand, as well as, other authentic destinations. Customers are comfortable referring their friends and families to Sunflower.

I enjoy sharing my years of experiences and product knowledge with Sunflower Travel staff as they research travel plans for clients. I am aware that one must keep updated on the ever evolving change in the travel industry and encourage agents to attend classes and seminars to increase their knowledge of travel destinations.
